SIMPLE INSTALLATION WITH MINIMAL DRILLING: Experience effortless attachment of our honeycomb pleated blind to your interior window frame, requiring just a minimum width of 15 millimeters. Ideal for both operable and non-opening windows, we provide all the necessary mounting materials for a seamless installation process.

HIGH-QUALITY BLACKOUT AND THERMAL FABRIC - Our honeycomb pleated blinds are made from premium blackout fabric, offering excellent protection against sunlight entering the room. The fabric has a unique honeycomb structure with two layers and a silver thermal coating in between, enhancing insulation and preventing excessive heat in your home. Additionally, the fabric is non-creasing and has an antistatic layer, keeping it free from dust buildup.

FLEXIBLE ADJUSTMENT - The honeycomb pleated blinds come with adjustable aluminium profiles both at the top and bottom, enabling you to fully or partially cover the window from either above or below. This feature allows you to customise both the amount of light in your room and the level of privacy that you require

HOW TO MEASURE? - To determine the honeycomb blind's width, measure the glass pane inside the window frame, excluding glazing beads. Ensure a precise alignment between blind width and glass pane width. Remember the blind must fit within the window frame; an excessive measurement may cause fitting issues. For the honeycomb blind's height, follow the same process. Focus on the glass pane inside the frame, excluding glazing beads. Match the pleated blind's length with the glass pane's height

INSTALLATION WITH DRILLING – To install the honeycomb blind on your window, select an appropriate screw-in fastener for your window frame. Align the fastener's angle with the frame (90 degrees). Each fastener comes with a spacer for precise positioning. Position the fastener on the frame, spacer against the glass, marking the drill spot. Attach fasteners, then proceed with blind installation. Ensure untangled strings for proper functionality. Video instructions manual available upon request.

CONVENIENT SPACER AND FASTENER FEATURE - Our honeycomb blinds feature a spacer that allows for precise measurement of the distance from the window glass to the screw-in fastener. The set includes number of fasteners suitable for different types of window frame curves. This function ensures a hassle-free and precise installation experience.

VERSATILE AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL: Our customised honeycomb pleated shades with drilling are tailor-made elegant, versatile and functional window decorations - that can offer your living space a unique and colorful look, and provide protection against intense exterior sunlight as well as from prying eyes.

EASY MAINTENANCE - These blinds are designed with the ease of maintenance in mind. For consistent freshness, use a gentle, low-power vacuum with a furniture brush or crevice nozzle. Alternatively, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Handle with care. This safeguards the blinds, ensuring prolonged blackout benefits and durability for years to come.

INCLUDED IN SET - Along with our honeycomb blind, you will receive 2 grips for regulating the blind, 4 sets of fasteners that, together with the spacer, will assist you in measuring the distance of the fastener from the window, and 8 screws required for installing the blind. Additionally, a Phillips screwdriver and scissors will come in handy during the installation process (not included in the set).

How to measure for roman shades

How to measure for roman shades

Perfect fit for a beautiful window starts with accurate measurements. Once you’ve decided whether you’d like to mount your custom roman shades inside or outside the window frame, use our handy guide below to measure for a flawless fit.

To ensure a perfect fit for outside mount Roman shades, follow these detailed measurement steps. Use a steel tape measure and record measurements to the nearest 1/8 inch, measuring each window individually as sizes may vary slightly.

1. Determine Mount Type

First, decide whether to mount your Roman shades inside or outside the window frame. Outside mount shades cover the entire window frame and are installed on the wall above the window, on the ceiling, or on the molding around the window frame. This option works well when the window frame depth is insufficient or there are obstructions around the frame.

2. Measure Length (Height)

  • Measurement Area: Start from the wall above the window or the top of the window frame and measure down to where you want the shade to end. We recommend extending the shade 2-3 inches beyond the top and bottom of the window to minimize light leakage.
  • If the Window Has a Protruding Sill: Consider the sill height. If the shade extends too far below the window, it may block the sill. In this case, stop the shade at the sill level to ensure smooth operation.
  • Consistency for Multiple Windows: For multiple windows of similar height in the same room, order all shades based on the tallest measurement to ensure consistent pleats.

3. Measure Width

  • Measurement Area: Measure from one side of the window frame to the other, adding an additional 2-3 inches on each side (4-6 inches total) to prevent light seepage from the sides.
  • Note on Width: Most fabric rolls are 54 inches wide. If your Roman shade width exceeds 50 inches, expect vertical joining hems to be added to achieve the required width. This is an industry standard, as fabric suppliers must add seams to create wider shades.

4. Choosing Length and Width Fractions

On the ordering page, you’ll see options for “Length Fraction” and “Width Fraction.” For instance, if you need shades that are 36.50 inches long, select “36” for Length and “1/2” (or .50 inch) in the Length Fraction dropdown.

5. Submit Exact Measurements

For outside mount Roman shades, the measurements you provide will be the final finished dimensions (with a tolerance of a few millimeters). We will not make any deductions from your measurements, so providing precise measurements will ensure a perfect fit for your shades.

Neutral Theme

Less is more. In the context of interior design, neutral means without color. Neutrals such as beige, ivory, taupe, black, gray, and shades of white appear to be without color. but in many applications these hues often have undertones. Be aware of these underlying tones as you match colors. Neutral colors are muted shades that appear to lack color but often have underlying hues that change with different lighting. To some extent, blacks, browns, tans, golds, and beige are considered warm. Cooler colors, on the other hand, are white, ivory, silver, and gray.
